Through occupational therapy, clients are trained or re-trained in using their fine motor skills, cognition, and mobility. Ultimately, we have a goal of increasing a patient’s level of independence at home and restoring the patient’s ability to manage health.

Occupational Therapy includes but is not limited to:

  • Assistance with daily living skills and activities
  • Learning to conserve energy
  • Assistance with exercise routines
  • Range of motion exercises
  • Reeducation on activities of daily living (skills enhancement)
  • Massage therapy
  • Pain management
  • Balance training
  • Body mechanics
  • Home safety orientation
